Over 94% of the linerboard and 100% of the medium we use to manufacture corrugated sheet stock is recycled material.
Our litho printers use inks low in VOC's (volatile organic compounds) and the inks used for silk-screening are UV inks that do not release toxins into the atmosphere. Our water-based flexo inks are environmentally friendly and do not produce solvent odours.
Our 40-inch printer recycles and disposes of its own chemicals. Plastic and metal components used in our displays are manufactured from partial to completely recycled materials.
One of DMG’s main goals is to decrease energy consumption every year. Our office and warehouse lights have been retrofitted, reducing our hydro consumption by 36.4% in a single year.
Waste that can be recycled is always recycled in our office and plant. We encourage all employees to reduce waste and recycle, if possible.
